The UAE Ministry of Finance has announced Ministerial Decision No. 56 of 2026 important updates to the UAE E-Invoicing framework through amendments to Ministerial Decision No. 244 of 2025. Businesses with annual revenues exceeding AED 50 million are now granted an extension for the appointment of an Accredited Service Provider (ASP), with the deadline moved from 31 July 2026 to 30 October 2026. This extension provides affected entities with additional time to assess implementation requirements, evaluate suitable accredited service providers, and complete the necessary operational and technical readiness activities to ensure compliance with the UAE E-Invoicing system.
Entities with annual revenues below AED 50 million remain subject to the original implementation timeline under the UAE E-Invoicing framework. For these businesses, the deadline for ASP appointment remains 31 March 2027, followed by a mandatory go-live date of 1 July 2027. Businesses are encouraged to begin their readiness assessments early to ensure smooth implementation and timely compliance with the regulatory requirements.
